Amreen is a multi-faced education professional with experience in both the traditional public and charter school world. She began her career as a Teach For American corps member teaching high school science in Marks, Mississippi. She obtained her masters degree in school counseling and then pivoted to supporting a charter school network in through marketing and communications. Most recently, she spent four years working at the IDOE mainly with charter school grant funding and also supporting Title I, II, and IV funding as well. Her passion lies in providing high quality, detailed and customized support to schools to support them in their mission assure access to a high quality education for all students.
